奥巴马夫人米歇尔的柠檬柑橘口味的奶油甜酥饼配方:
原料
1/2杯无盐黄油
1/2杯外加两匙糖
2个蛋黄
2匙爱莫莱托利口酒
柠檬和柑橘皮屑各一匙
3杯蛋糕粉(非自发面)
1/4匙盐
1个发泡蛋白
切好的坚果或干果(可选)
操作步骤
1、将烤炉加温至华氏325°,在一个17 x 12 x 1英寸的烤盘铺不粘纸。用一个大碗将黄油和1到半杯糖混合在一起。
2、慢慢加入蛋黄,打匀直至表面光滑,然后加入打入意大利苦杏仁酒和柠檬和柑橘皮。
3、拌入蛋糕粉和盐,直至混和。
4、将生面团平均放入事先准备后的盘,尽可能的推平。
5、将蛋白抹在面团上,撒入坚果或者水果及剩下的两匙糖。
6、烤25分钟或者使奶油甜酥饼成黄色,关掉烤箱,将烤箱门 打开,等待十五分钟后将奶油甜酥饼取出,当它还是微热时进行切割。

Makes: 6 dozen 2-inch x 3-inch cookies
Ingredients
1-1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1-1/2 cups plus 2 tablespoons sugar
2 egg yolks
2 tablespoons Amaretto (almond liqueur)
1 teaspoon each orange and lemon zest
3 cups cake flour (not self-rising)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 beaten egg white
Chopped nuts or dried fruit (optional)
Directions
1. Heat oven to 325°F. Line a 17 x 12 x 1-inch baking pan with nonstick foil. In large bowl, cream together butter and 1-1/2 cups of the sugar.
2. Slowly add egg yolks, and beat well until smooth. Beat in Amaretto and zest.
3. Stir in flour and salt until combined.
4. Spread dough evenly into prepared pan, flattening as smoothly as possible.
5. Brush top of dough with egg white; sprinkle with nuts or fruit (if using) and with remaining 2 tablespoons sugar.
6. Bake at 325°F for 25 minutes or until brown, turn off oven and allow cookies to sit in oven (with door ajar) for 15 minutes. Cut while slightly warm.
